Website privacy policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

This policy covers this website — the pages you are reading now. The games have their own privacy policy, because they handle different things: here are Wordkeeper's, which is the text the game itself presents, and the card games', one for Briscola and Scopa, which also covers what happens when you play in the browser at briscola.oneboatgames.com and scopa.oneboatgames.com.

One Boat Games is the name under which this site is published.

2. The short version

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties: the typefaces, the images and the scripts all come from this domain. Nobody is counting your visit — not us, and not anyone we invited in.

3. What is processed anyway

3.1 Server logs

As with any website, the provider hosting these pages automatically records what your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and operating system. It serves to deliver the site, keep it safe and produce anonymous technical statistics, and it is kept by the provider for as long as those purposes require.

3.2 Two choices kept in your browser

The site stores the language you picked and whether you dismissed the “this page is also available in…” bar. They are not cookies: they live in your browser's own storage, are never sent anywhere, and disappear when you clear this site's data. They exist only so that the site does not ask you the same thing twice.

3.3 Email

If you write to the address on this page we process your address and your message to answer you and handle the request. We do not use those contacts for marketing.

4. What we do not collect

No account, no registration, no form. Nothing on this site asks for your name, your email or any payment detail. The games are another matter, and each has its own privacy policy: to play the card games online, for instance, you sign in with Google or Apple.

5. Purposes and legal bases

6. Recipients

The hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.), as a processor, for the log data in 3.1; and the email provider, for correspondence. We do not sell or pass your data to anyone else.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

Any transfer to a third country relies on the safeguards of Chapter V GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Retention

Server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider, normally no more than a few months. Emails are kept for at most 24 months after the request is closed. The two choices in 3.2 stay on your device until you clear them.

9. Your rights

You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to info@prgspace.com. If you believe the processing infringes the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

10. Changes

This policy may be updated. The version in force is the one published here, bearing the date shown above.
